This class was dedicated all to the basics and easy techniques to draw lines or shapes.
We began with making lines horizontally and vertically at a distance of 1 cm from each other and we continue this exercise for 2-3 times. Then we started drawing free hand circles of approx 5cm diameter, we continued that until we were able to draw perfect circle while using shoulder but not wrist.
After that we started making cubes using single strokes and we have to make them as fast as we could. Then we started making more cubes and its shadow using lateral shading strokes.
We then made eclipses and then divided two halves using lines, we made smaller eclipses inside the big ones then we join the smaller eclipses to the bigger ones from 2 sides using lines.
After all this faculty explained about abstraction and showed us how fast these basic lines and shapes can be transformed into a bigger products. Then sir drew a car using rectangle, eclipses etc in 15 seconds.
And the last thing faculty taught us in today’s class was how to draw human figures. He then told us about the proportion we should take while drawing human figures. He then draw some figures and showed us.
